DΒ³SCR!PTION
The meaning of the pic is to show the kind of path we're all going. On the left side we have the oldish, familiar looking environments. While on the right we have the monstrous huge futuristic city that seems to literally eat the people, their lives and lets them appear soooo small that they almost don't count anymore. The old bridge is a kinda symbole to show that both parts are still connected and that only you alone decide to take that walk into the future or not.
On the other hand... it's just a cool sci-fi based artwork.
TECHN!CAL DETA!LS
First of all i want to tell those super critique folks that this pic is far from perfect, i know that. There's, once again, lots of experimental stuff in it. It's very different to the stuff i ever did before. Basically it's a very big huge mo0onster photo manipulation. You ask yourself why it's call matte '

THis just blows me away.
Like.. those types of artowrks where you have nothing to say, so you literally go tell your friends and wait for thier reaction, which ends up being quite similar to yours.
And then you just have a whole bunch of eyes, staring at it.
Unbelievable.

Looks great. very inspiring.
The only problem I have with it though is that the perspective seems off on the bridge, and well, that's pretty distracting.
But apart from that, It all looks great

Having been born in NY, and having had grandparents who lived in Brooklyn, this bridge is dear to my heart.
Beautiful wallpaper, wonderful composition and conceptual aspect.

Nice work. One thing caught my eye...there are no mountains (that tall) in the NYC's horizon. Otherwise awesome work....keep up the NYC spirit...aight!!

Good presentation of pretty much all aspects. I like the way you turned a fairly common idea into something quite unique. Great job.

Excellent Excellent job!
This picture really strikes a tone with me because I know that park on the left, and the contrast already exists looking at manhattan and Brooklyn from there. So, in a sense, we are already on the way to what is shown in this picture.
Again, I will say that this is absouletly stunning.

Very nice! Sounds like you know where the painting could use work, so I won't nit-pick I do want to say, though, that I didn't get a whole lot of the 'old world' feeling from the left side of the picture. The two sides just kind of work together, especially since there's not a lot there compared to the 'new world' side, and there's a bridge connecting them, so there's not a lot of contrasting between them. That's just my two cents, though. I do like the composition!

I like it It's interesting theres no reference to any buildings that are around today, although they'd probably be swallowed up by the new, it appears as though they're squashed right up to the riverbank too. Very nice

I love depictions of the future that look like this and make you think, "what will happen in 20 to 80 years?" After all, I hope I'll still be alive in 20 years (hell, 60 years) and I know how much has changed in the past 20 years. . .it boggles the mind, but is fun to think about.

you have to run to... not become swallowed by the monster called 'time'. i have no idea how the living on this rock will look like in 20yrs. my current look into the future is a mix of fear and enthusiasm... - i guess that's one of the reasons i made that pic the way you see it now. i would definitely be that person you see in the image... looking into the past... not into the future.
