in my last journal i was talking about some screenies of my current painting i'm working on. well this here is it... sorta. it shows a background detail i've cut out of my current painting project. i added a lot of extra stuff to make it more look like an own picture and not just like an cut out. so the buildings you see here are the actual 'screenie' i spoke of in my journal. all the other stuff was added within a few hrs.photoshop + wacom
original res. 2000x3000
this piece will also conclude my artistic year 2005. it was a great year and once again i've learned sooo many things. thanks out to all my watchers, groupies and friends. hehe

Eins ist dir hier defintiv gelungen undzwar dass es ein eigenständiges Bild ist. Man kann natürlich noch sagen wo es mal ursprünglich im Original gewesen ist, aber dennoch ist durch die kleinen Änderungen wie den Hintergrund oder den kleinen Gleiter zu einem komplett neuem Bild geworden.
Übrigens der Schweif des Gleiters und die Lichter der Gebäude gefallen mir sehr gut. Die Farbe passt perfekt ins gesamte Bild und irgendwie hat es was.

hab mir auch ein wacom zu weihnachten geschenkt... aber irgendwie komm ich nicht zu den ergebnissen wie du... cooles bild!

um das, was ich in dem bild hier gemacht hab, machen zu können brauchte ich auch ein paar wochen übung. ich hab mir auch übungs filme von digital paintern angesehen um zu gucken wie die an solche dinge rangehen.

A very "cool" piece, literally and artistically. I like the colours and great job on some smaller details- as always. One nitpick though is although you are trying to convey great heigh/depth on the buildings, they almost look.. squished horizontally if you know what I mean. Maybe it's the perspective. Or, maybe just crazy ol' me.

What I thoughr was wires going across the city like some sorta horizontal fence turned out to be small vehicles. Its the smaller details that make the image look so awesome nice work.

Great painting tigaer, I really like the architecture of the buildings. I also love the large building downlow. It akes the piece very "filled in". Without that it would have been missing something. once again nice work.

So much detail when you zoom in that you can't really even see at first...I love that about your paintings man. If this is what you threw out, I can't wait to see what you're keeping

Sieht gut aus, von der Tiefe her seeeeehr viel besser als dein letzes. Die kleinen Fenster gefallen mir sehr, mit den richtigen Brushes und Einstellungen lässt sich eine menge Arbeit sparen huh
Einzigster Kritikpunkt wären die kleinen Schiffe (?), sind schon gut gelungen aber könnten ein bischen mehr Kontrast/Schärfe vertragen, also die weiter vorne

The details do really make up this picture, although I think the atmosphere isnt really dense enough to have those further buildings so transparent... Again, great work.
