Description
Prancing around on the beach on a sunny day. Having fun. Lalala.I just felt like combining two innocent Sonic characters with a dark and angsty one that is Shadow.
Inspiration music: "Pure Again" - Ending song of "Breath of Fire 3"

Dude...once again another great job. But I'm curious, for every Sonic pic you do...there's less and less of Sonic and more and more of everyone else, especially Shadow. It's nice to have a breath of fresh air in art, but is the selection merely coincidence or a bit of fan prefences?
No offense, just want to know...I get bit jumpy when I see too much black and red :/

Hum. You're right.
I'd better but down a bit on Shadow. Although I hate him as a character, I still think he's kinda funky to draw... but at this rate, it'll become spontaneous like: "When I draw Sonic characters, Shadow has to be there."... this is dangerous. I really have to move on to something else.
But Tails... never. I'll never stop drawing Tails. 
Oh, and about Sonic.
From time to time, an effort is worth it, but generally, I don't have much pleasure drawing him... perhaps because I'm not used to draw him with facial expressions. Anyways, I'm quite sure there are enough Sonic fans out there.
But... why do you ask that?

Well, it will give Shadow a chance to lighten up... if he want to.
I like how cute Tails and Cream look, heh. Shadow looks kind of aggitated. Poor guy. Maybe they dragged him along. I like the soft color tones in this. They make the picture look more warm and sunny. Their shadows turned out well, I think. I like how the background doesn't have any outlines.

Dig that sand and waves. Shadow seems at home here at the beach, cause if he laid down face-first in the sand you'd think it was a Starfish with arms and legs.LOL! Starfish Head I mean Shadow, looks like he's ticked that he had to miss his goth poetry session to babysit these two.

Very impressive Background work. ^_^ I see what you meant about WInd Waker style, and I think it fits nicely! Keeps itself behind, still making sure the subjects of the image are the main focus.
You've always had such a way of expressing feelings with how you drew the characters, and it doesn't matter how you did it, or even if it matters if the characters would do this, you manage to pull it off so flawlessly.
Not that anyone cares, but I think Shadow is innocent, too!

Shadow? Pure and innocent? Hmm...
Brings back memories from those philosphy classes. XD We are all naturally good, but when it comes to the "survival of the fittest", then it all becomes messed up.
In Shadow's case, I think he has way too much grudge against "humans" in general.
What about Shadow the Hedgehog game?

Whoa, now that's extreme. But it can't be helped. I'm sure it's all coincidence. It's like saying that the new TMNT show has taken elements from my TMNT fan manga's story...
I heard that chronologically, Sonic Battle happens after Shadow the Hedgehog...
But in what ways does Shadow the Hedgehog contradict SA2?

Sonic battle happened AFTER Shadow the hedgehog? O.o WTf. That's...strange. >
In SA2, Professor Gerald had stumbled upon Ancient tablets, as stated in Sonic Battle. Those tablets talked about the Chaos Emeralds, mostly. (If you recall Sonic 3 & K, Hidden Palace Zone. The picture of Super Sonic fighting the Robotnik robot on the wall? That was like the Perfect Chaos mural in the Echidna Temple in SA1). The President, of the time, wanted a way to find everlasitng youth. Gerald had researched the Chaos Emeralds prior, and found immense energy within, so he tried adapting it to a life form. (Biolizard, with the giant 'Chaos Drive' (Life Support) on it's back. It didn't work too well, but it was the basis that got Shadow started. A way to make the living host able to heal itself, would also help his Maria.
Eh.. I'm rambling... Case is, almost everything that I recall was explained thereafter within the special guide for SA2 that you could buy. In Shadow the Hedgehog, Throwing in Aliens (That don't even resemble Shadow in the least), the GUN General (Which was never mentioned, as it was said that Maria was an only child aboard the ARK, so that the professor could try and find a cure for her). GUN hated the professor terribly, out of jealousy. They even devised a plan to stop the Professor's plans for his project. So if GUN stormed the ARK and started taking down people, why would the GUN commander be on THEIR side after witnessing all of that? His plot doesn't even make sense.
