This was a lot more difficult to fill out than I thought it would be. 8T Choosing things was hard. Choosing the size of things was harder.. if I could have I would have made them all that 2x3 size... beh. In the end I chose art that specifically influenced my style or approach to art in some way.

Artists from upper left to bottom right:
- Glen Keane .. I was really inspired by his art when I was younger and it had a lot of influence on how I draw, and especially how I animate
- Makani .. I really admire her illustrations and how she creates life in her characters, especially in her sketches
- Naoki Urasawa .. I particularly love how he draws faces and creates individuality in characters
- Hiromu Arakawa .. When I was younger I was really inspired by how she draws facial expressions, particularly the extreme ones (anger, horror)
- Masashi Kishimoto .. There is something about how he draws faces that I like, and I've enjoyed watching his art grow over the years
- Chris Sanders .. I really love his lines and the sense of weight in his figures
- Katsuhiro Otomo .. I am particularly inspired by his linework and realism
- Makoto Yukimura .. Vinland Saga to me combines the beautiful realism in Otomo's work with Urasawa's sense of character
- Toshihiro Ono .. I was really inspired by Pokemon as a kid, but I particularly loved this manga I had
- Titan A.E. .. Duh... most of my characters are Titan A.E. fancharacters... this film has inspired everything about my art and writing
- Jennadelle .. When I was a teenager I was really inspired by her use of line, motion, color and light
- Shiro Amano .. I really love his adaption of the Kingdom Hearts series, but I especially love how he brought a fresh and lively feeling to the Disney characters without directly copying the original styles
- The Lion King .. I don't think anyone can look at my furrecats without thinking "Simba"

This was fun.. to be honest, outside of deviantArt and manga, I don't really look at or think about art much anymore since I finished school... I think it might help if I reflected on my influences more and what I enjoy in art. I think my choices say a lot about what is important to me in my art. I'm a little embarrassed because half of this isn't even in color, but to be honest I prefer black and white work anyway.

Hahaha. One day my art might be a tenth as good as yours. Maybe. xD

The fact that I do not know that most of your characters are from Titan A. E. proves how disconnected I am from my friends.

Well, most of my characters that aren't feline... the furrecats are original, but pretty much all my human characters and everything in the "Amount to Nothing" folder are Titan AE-related. There's nothing about them that screams Titan AE so I wouldn't be terribly shocked if people didn't know, haha. I've sometimes considered changing their backstories to remove them from the Titan AE universe, but it's so much a part of them now I don't think I will ever change it.

Titan AE...I love Don Bluth's style. His characters always move so smoothly.

I suppose it helps that his films have so much rotoscoping, haha. I personally really like his creatures and his stylized humans. Particularly the way they talk, there's something really appealing about it.
