Continuing with my I-played-way-too-much-Skyrim-these-last-few-weeks heraldry spree, I present to you the coat of arms of the Elsweyr Confederation. I tried to incorporate as many elements important to Khajiiti culture as I could. For one, there is the duality of the land itself. One part of Elsweyr is comprised of barren deserts, the other, on the ocean coast, is made up of lush jungle forests. Nightshade is considered sacred by the Khajiit, so it features prominently as their heraldic flower. Another important plant is moon sugar, a bundle of which is held by the warrior. Skooma, a highly addictive drug, is made from the sugar cane and is illegal everyhwre in Tamriel but an important cultural good to the Kahjiit, who sweeten almost every dish and beverage with moon sugar. Speaking of the moons: They are probably the most important thing to the culutre of Elsweyr. The phases of the moons determine the form of the Khajiit when they are born, so I chose the moon phases as the coat of arms. The crest is the eclipse, which is rare and which signlas the birht of the Mane, the leader of the Khajiiti people of which only one lives at a time. For supporters I chose a monk on one side and a warrior on the other.
