Description Originaly, the Inquisition started as a combined effort of the Papacy and the Empire against heretics. Over the time however, it lost it's purely religious purpose and evolved into the Empire's secret service.

Due to it's religious origins, the Inquisition is still lead by a combined leadership made up of one Imperial and one Papal official.

Besides it's role as the Empire's internal and external secret service, a branch of the Inquisition also serves as the Papal law enforcement agency within the boundaries of papal controlled Rome, and as the personal guard of the Emperor and his family.

It's amazing because I've never seen a CoA about the inquisition. Great job.
