I personaly am fascinated by Charlemagne, the great Frankish Emperor.I always wondered how this world would look like, if CHarlemagne's sons hadn't split up the Empire he created, but instead kept it intact. This is the coat of arms I came up with for their dynasty.

I, too, as a descendant of the great King of the Franks, Charlemagne, himself, wonder what would the world be like if, my distant ancestors that were his sons, had not split up the great empire that he, the great King of the Franks himself, had united and lived for.

I think if the empire wouldn't have been divided we'd probably all speak the same language from Burgenland to Aquitania, from Slesvig to Pavia.

Yes, I think so too! And we'd probably also be a lot more advanced in terms of science. The dark ages realy just started with the downfgall of Charlemagne's Empire and it's short termed succesors.

Indeed. He was a great person. In my opinion the most important person of the Middle Ages, and one of the most influential of European history.
I also like your coat of arms design very much, although I think it's a little unrealistic in case that Charlemagnes empire would have survived. After all, these arms and the crown all were only created long after his death.
