In 1820 Napoleon incorporates all his conquered lands into a single state. The Empire of France is made up of several so called "Regencies". They are clockwise from top to bottom:-Germany
-Holland
-Hungary
-Bohemia
-Italy
-Illyria
-Baltic
-Poland
-Sweden (including Finland)
-Muscovy
-Metropolitan France (center)
Every Regency is ruled by a regent, appointed by the Emperor.

The Iron crown of Lombardy was the inscutcheon of the Napoleonic Italy. It's the black crown on the bottom right.

Very real possibility, if Napoleon wasn't such crazy megalomaniac. Who thought about (im)possibility to conquer and hold everything all around the world

I wonder how long before the Bonapartes would have reintroduced the Fleur d'lys?

I don't think they would have done it at all. Napoleon saw himself as the son of the French Revolution and all his ancestors were proud of that image, I don't think they would have ever tainted that image with a symbol of the Ancien Regime ..
But it would sure as hell look cool

He married quick into the Hapsburgs when he had the chance, who's to say that by the mid 20th C one of the Bonapartes marries a legitimate Capetian heir?
