Description
The Order of Knights of the Nine Divines was the most prominent religious military order of the Septim Empire. Founded during the Third Era as a military order dedicated to the collection and protection of the relics of Pleinal Whitestrake, the Divine Crusader of the First Era, the Order gained prominence in the following decades for being joined by many famous and influential nobles of the time and for successfuly collecting several pieces of Pelinal's relics. The Order fell on hard times during the succession crisis, later known of as the War of the Red Diamond, during wich several of it's members found themselves on opposing sides of the conflict. The drawn out, bloody conflict all but destroyed the Order, and it disbanded in the aftermath. It was only refounded by the Hero of Kvatch during the Oblivion Crisis.
