Description

I just found another thing I started a long while ago while playing through Dishonored 2 (great game, btw) and never finished. The Empire of the Isles, the state that Dishonored plays in and which consists of four different islands all ruled by an EMperor/Empress from the capital city of Dunwall, has a very rough coat of arms you can see on banners with in the game. I polished it up a bit (and forgive the design of the shield, I just recreated what I saw) and also decided to create arms for two other organizations in the world of DIshonord, namely the two predominant religious organizations. The first if the Abbey of the Everyman, the state-religion of the Empire of the Isels. I just used their symbol featured on the shield, the VII on the crest is based on the Seven Strictures, the underlying holy text of the group and as a supporter I chose the Warfare Overseers, which are the Abbey's military arm. There are also the OIracular Sisters, the other, exclusivley female half of the Abbey, but since I started this piece before we ever saw one of these ladies in-game and I couldn't be fucked to create another of these supporters (the first one took long enough), the Overseers stand alone in this piece. The last piece represents the Cult of the Outsider, the mortal enemies of the Abbey, who worship the ellusive Outsider, a once mortal man who became a god who resides in the plane of the Void. This one I created after playing through the Death of the Outsider DLC, from which I took the giant black-red eye in the crest (no spoilers, play the damn game and you'll know why )

At first I wanted to make more of them, like for example all four of them member states of the Empire of the Isles, but then the Abbey supporters turned out to be so much fucking work that I dropped the idea. Also, I didn't have much to go on for those states.
