Description At the beginning of the 20th century, industrialization hit the British Raj. With it came socialism. With help from the CommIntern the socialist movement soon took over the ever growing indpendence movement in India. When the British opened fire on a demonstration led by Mahatma Ghandi in 1941 and killed him in the process, the spark for revolution had come. Communists, by now fully supported by both Hindus and Muslims, denounced Ghandis ideology of non-violence and demanded war against the British. It came the day after the declaration of revolution issued on October 23rd. With material assitance from the CommIntern and strategic council India rose up against the British and their princley and ousted them from their lands after 3 bloody years of revolution. Muslims and Hindi formed a conjoined country they named the Socialist Union of India. The first All Indian Great Council was lead by M. N. Govindan Nair and joined the Commintern and the Krakow Pact. The British, humiliated and defeated in their prime colony, retreated and afterwards tightened their grip on the remainder of the Commonwealth to never lose against a socialist revolt again.

As stated in the info about Vietnam, China in this timeline is communist.

So China is under Mao, I would not necessarily call this communist...
But what about the border South Tibet is part of China but Aksai Chin still a part of India? Have both parties agreed to this kind of border?
And do you also make a world map of this timeline?

I may And honestly, some details aren't realy fleshed out yet   I would imagine that Mao had to bow more to German council-style communism simply due to CommIntern pressure (like the USSR already did in this timeline, the Soviets were never stripped of there power here due to pressure from Germany). As for Tibet and Aksai Chin ... I'll have to think about that when I create the world map I'll try to figure something out But I would imagine that Tibet will not be part of China, simply for the fact that I would imagine the British would hold on to it more tightly seeing how they completley lost India.

Well ok when Mao becomes a council communist...
i actually meant SOUTH Tibet that little region that belongs to India but is claimed by China, on your map it's part of Tibet, and judging from the map Sikkim was annexed earlier.
But how are the Brits going to defend Tibet from the PLA ?

Basicaly most of the British troops from India retreated to Tibet, so the country is now heavily fortified. Also there is the fact that a direct attack on Tibet would basicaly bring up the threat of nuclear war, so there is no real impetus to do it.

According to Arunachal Pradesh, that actuqaly wasn't intentional. I used an old map of the British Raj as basis for this CoA and it just happened that way

As to Sikkim: That was just annexed by India during the war of independence. Seeing as how it was one of the primary princley powers, I thought it would be fitting for a communist army to conquer it
