Hey, look what I found at a Convention...No! You got me, this is a fake done by yours truly. I tried to match as much as I could to the original Filmation look and still shoe-horn in the Spanking action. They look more like my ladies in the face though. It's really hard to match up these girl's faces to the original. Also, I find there costumes a nightmare to draw even though the simplified them for animation. I feel for those animators back in the day. Also, another difficult thing to do is match the colors. I looked at a dozen hi res images of cells to match it and they were all different. I don't know how he does it, but check out 's gallery, somehow he pulls off Filmation style scenes even with characters which weren't in the show. LOL I'm just imagining Teela running around the rest of the episode after her "catfight" with her ass hanging out, until Orko offers to fix it up and of course ends up giving her a wedgie as the fixed tankini rides up too high

I checked out that gallery. He does some good stuff. My only criticism is that he cell shades. Yes they did that from time to time in some Sunbow productions, because they were animated in Japan. Therefore, it was common in anime. They would also cell shade for dramatic openings. However, they average day to day episode was only flat painted to save time and money. Filmation on the other hand, being produced in the states, never used cell shading. So it takes away from the authenticness. Western comics were also done that way for the same reason. I think the generation after mine has grown up with anime, so they expect cell shading. I would assume the don't feel like the piece us finished without it. As much as a love digital color and the ability to either paint, cell-shade or highlight easily, I prefer the flat colors, because it reminds me of my youth.

Overall, looks great and color seems to be good enough even if you said it was hard to match.

Teela and Evil-Lyn are one of those perfect spankee and spanker couples.
It's unfortunate that Teela was never captured by Evil-Lyn in the Filmation cartoon, I could've done a nice spin-off story but can probably think of a nice scenario for an original fan fic.
