This is quite a nice artwork, and the coloring is of a rather unusual style for the Layton fandom. I could actually see this being used as a loading screen in a game. Nice job.

ahwwh. absolutely gorgeous! the colours and the shading are especially quaint, but yet seem to fit in and give off a perfect layton-esque feel to the picture.
