Gosh, I remember the first time I saw this movie. It was a Blockbuster rental at the time. I had to have been only four or five years old every single Blockbuster we went to afterward I asked "do you have The Cat Returns?". Everyone told me there was no such movie, even my mother. I never lost hope and kept asking. I kept getting the same answer. When I was eight or nine, my mom asked where in the heck I'd gotten the idea of a movie called The Cat Returns, so I explained and she only laughed at me. Last year my grandmother and I were browsing Studio Ghibli movies and one stood out to me... The Cat Returns did exist! Of course, when I brought home the DVD my mom only acted like she knew all along ;D
This old movie is very dear to me and holds a special place in my heart! Thank you so much for this amazing depiction of the characters~

I Loved watching The Cat return as well as Princess Mononoke which is one of the many films that the Legendary Story Weaver Hayao Miyazaki has told. And I like who he includes the Japanese Culture into his films.
