Ya see, the thing is...vamps are fictional. They can be twisted and changed however someone wants them to be. There are no rules, there are no guild lines.
Meyer totally kills the typical werewolf legacy in her books. Do people complain about that? No.
And don't get me wrong, I totally agree that her adaptation is a bit screwy, but it's nothing to get worked up over.

I don't think Twilight "ruined" vampires, after all, I still enjoy the underworld series. I do hate Twilight though, my problem is Edward Cullen and Bella Swan though, if it wasn't for him getting constantly described as hot, warping the characterization of everybody else and CONSTANTLY getting described as hot.
As for Bella's continuing to whine about things that are absolutely positive to her life (I how she feels, I'm popular too! The tragedy! *mockingly sobs*). DON'T GET ME STARTED!!!
I think the only way Twilight could be made good or at least not shit is this: Wipe the Cullens and Swans from existence!

ROFL, Good point! I never got into the Twilight book/movies, but now all the annoying Edward fangirlism, and hearing that they actually made vampires GLOW is just downright ridiculous. Twilight turned vampires from feared creatures of Dracula to human glitter glue!

on my birthday, a friend of mine (A huge twilight fan, in the creepy way)
Gave me a glitter naillack. I think she did it to annoy me, either way, I threw it at her screaming
"VAMPIRE!"
The glitter thing is stupid, a lot of people think that they made vampire's sound more... "Real"
I might believe them, apart from that enourmous mistake. Why would they glitter??
I don't like things that glitter, I like shiny thing's. I have a lot of shiny thing's, which I found on the street, in other people's pocket's....
