Description
This was one of Marin’s favourite pastimes as a child. Sale may seem a bit big and scary at first, but his jolly temperament soon puts everyone at ease. It must be admitted that he has something of a soft spot for Marin, having known her ever since she was a baby. He was always quick to give the little girl a banana when ever she wandered into his seaside shop, and often took her when he went fishing on his days off. These trips always ended in a nice, peaceful float down the river with Marin perched atop “Uncle Sale’s” mountainous belly and singing, her clear, sweet voice echoing off the ripples. It would be a lie to say that the crocodile salesman didn’t miss those peaceful afternoons with his “Little Lark” as he often called her. However, even HE had to concede to point that if the drift downstream were attempted today, the two would be in serious danger of capsizing.
