Basic understanding of physics, like knowing about the square-cube-law, really ruins this picture.

Yeah, magic helped with that

magic can explain away a lot, but not logic.
If the height is doubled, the mass is octupled all else being equal, as height is one dimensional 2^1=2 and mass is 3 dimensional 2^3=8.
That is also why there is such a big difference in bodytype between a rhinoceros and a gazelle.
A bigger body requires exponentially more muscle to move it.
Its not to be nitpicking, I used to love that giant troop, but it is just not logical. To quote a purple unicorn, magic is a particular skill that allows you to make a specific thing you want to happen happen.
I wonder what happened to that little horse. Last I heard she married Eeyore

Of course it defy laws of physics, but that doesn't mean, that it can't be fun

I have no problem with defying physic, but defying logic just breaks immersion.
How can giants make sense, unless they are some kind of illusion?

its called overthinking, I just can't enjoy art that is logically inconsistent, no matter how much I want to.
But I will tell thee one thing, never EVER watch Rick and Morty while under the effect of Morphine, trust me.
