If they just look like bigger, fatter, slightly more primitive Orcs, that's because that's what they are.

They DON'T want to be monsters anymore. And their bad experiences with magic kinda justifies their strong aversion to it.

- In life, Orcus was the God of Feasts and Harvests. He had given food to the people of Cauldron that venerated him, and could consume nearly anything, even concepts. So...he was corrupted, because demons seeking to corrupt the Minor Gods of Cauldron had quite literally "fed him lies".

- Half-Ogres exist. For the most part, their parents are Ogres who have been exiled by their own tribes, and have been found by other people who were more ready to accept them. They'd resemble their non-Ogre parent in some way, but be larger, more robust, and have pointier ears.

- Ogres who practice magic, or have been exposed to it, may undergo strange physical changes. Sometimes their skin turns blue, or even green. Sometimes they grow a horn. Sometimes they may even grow an extra head. Just one reason why Ogres normally hate magic.

- Back when they were war beasts, Ogres were basically sustained by being fed the flesh of their enemies.
