My favorite is the Bakenekro line. No surprise there given my love of cats and all. But I really like the concept of Nurikanine! I know what it is based off of and I think the reason you gave for it not letting people pass is wonderful! It makes the pokemon so lovable rather than making it out to be an annoyance that only gets in the way. Literally.

Thank ya very much dude!

Somehow, I figured that a Maneki Neko Pokemon was already done, via Meowth. But I figured it'd still be fun to do the concept, via making his coin into a fireball! Meanwhile, Bakenekro was a puzzle, cuz I didn't wanna make it too much like Incineroar. So I figured to make it kinda like Naruto's Two-Tailed Beast! Big cat that emphasizes sleekness over strength, and is kinda evil looking. XD

Not to mention, I like Nurikanine too! Funny thing is that Japanese mythology say it's a big living wall, but the artwork makes it look like a big fluffy dog. So I decided to give it a more benevolent reason for not letting people pass through! Think of it as being Clifford-the-Big-Red-Dog sized, and you'll see why this becomes a bit of a problem. XD

Clifford immediately came to mind when I saw it.

Ooh nice. Think you could maybe do music based mons. Like a treble clef, bass clef, etc. :3

You know been thinking of this, perhaps it'd be more around the lines of PokΓ©mon who either resemble instruments or resembling people who play music?

Like say various "musical fish" ranging from a trumpetfish, black drum and guitarfish. A snake that uses maracas as a rattle. Something like Scrafty, which is representative of rap, or modern music? Elephants which are also brass instruments?

Something of those sorts perhaps!

Yeah sorry, kinda difficult to come up with suitable Mons that fit that whole Musical PokΓ©mon theme. I'd have probably gone with musical notes, except there's this. img10.deviantart.net/0be8/i/20…

Any other ideas tho? Second opinion is always good!

For other themes, you mean?

Well, it's almost completely unrelated, but it'd be cool to see a Trainer duo based on these two:Β pre04.deviantart.net/9cda/th/p…
Maybe for later.
