I think that while the style is good, the dull color of the piece makes it seem almost well, boring. Make that fruit a delicious looking red that pops and really makes the viewer understand why adam and eve were so tempted. And bring the tree alive with vitality with rich greens and earthen browns. You could even leave the background dull to give the tree good contrast. Make it something that stands out against everything else! although I think you should add some sort of indication of sky, some clouds, a hint of blue or a sun.
Still that's nice work with watercolor, and I do like the overall design of the tree.
