I did a quick "Midnight Bloody Midnight" job on itty bitty Chucky for version 2. Original here---> [link]This is the alternate cover to Devil's Due's new Child's play title. I tried stretching my painting limits with this one....
I feel confident that I havn't lost my coloring skills yet...LOL.

Two things:
1) "Crap my pants" was actually what I was goin' for (it was at the tip of my tongue at the time) as I wrote that, but bein' rushed n' all, I just typed the first thing that came to mind
2) Don't forget, Chuck actually gave someone a heart attack in Child's Play 3

I think of the two pieces, this is my favorite. I just love it for the blood-splattering alone. The darkness is also a better touch, I think. The other was a little too nice and bright. THIS one is truly creepy and disturbing, just like Chucky should be.
Is this one going to be used at, like as a 'Dark Chucky' variant cover or some interior 'extra'? It's too good not to be used somewhere.

Thanks Kurt! The first one I did was based off of Jay Fotos's version, which I could only find a very small pic. I had to do Chucky justice with the second version.
I'm planning on sending this one to DDP, but I'm not sure if they'll use it or not....They might get pissed because I'm showing artwork from a yet to be comic...lol. OOPS...
