may I ask if you put your line layer on top of your color layer or the other way around?

Yes my line layer is the top layer, though I do adjust the opacity when I put the colours on underneath

ah! thanks!
Β may I also ask what blending do you use?

TixieLix In reply to Velink [2015-05-29 02:39:51 +0000 UTC]
no problem!
I don't really 'blend' but apply the shading by controlling my brush pressure - exactly how I would painting traditionally if that makes sense?Β Other artists may blend but I just don't generally

So much between 3-4...
Is it magic? Like "oh that looks cool, now all it needs is a little-"Β
*throws magic art sparkles on picture*
"Yup! That looks good!"
How do you do it? w @

hahaha well there are actually quite a few steps of shading between 3 and 4 but I just wanted to get to the point and show the major stages XD

Ah!Β
You should totally do a thing for the bits between steps 3 and 4. I would love too see that,Β
and I am sure others would too!

Step 1-3 I follow perfectly, the step between 3-4 seems VERY much out of my grasp! XD

There are actually 5 or 6 steps between 3 and 4 but I just wanted to get to the point... And I'll have to remind myself to take those screen caps almost constantly which is hard haha XD

That is actually a very big relief to know^^
I can imagine that^^
Once in the flow of drawing/painting, who can remember anything outside the here and now? (rhetorical question)
