How do you do the original sketch? How come he is so handsome for the beginning, do you use references? Because they must be reference from models, since he's way too good looking, but at the same time he still looks like Link. How do you do it?

I have a certain 'look' that I like for him as well as characters that I draw and yes, I do use references to help me piece together the face I'm after but that first sketch isn't exactly the beginning - the very beginning is A LOT messier with scribbles and set up lines all over his face XDĀ I just thought that at this stage of the sketch it'll be more meaningful for the wip
