This image started out as generic sci-fi/soldiers. As it developed, I was reminded of the fighters from the terminator movies, so I adapted the image to reflect that.
After James Cameron left the franchise, I think they moved away from the laser weapons or maybe they obtained them later in the war. We'll have to see how the new movie, with Cameron's involvement goes. Hopefully the series will get back on track.
