ROYCE STOP. ...Nah, keep goin'. We're getting to the creamy nougat center of all this~!I never know QUITE how to handle king buttlord's giant ass wings in poses/distances such as this. I think omitting them from time to time won't be TOO awful? Hrmmm.
I ended up changing the layout a million times on this one, grossly overestimating how many backgrounds and assets I'd need. But hey, at least I got some material started for the next page already! Yay~

Ya know, as much of a dick as Royce can be, I think I actually enjoy him more than my own dad. Maybe because I don't have to deal with him so i'm left to marvel at the fact that while he is a douchebag, he is somehow an awesome douchebag.

Chaz from Yu-Gi-Oh GX, horrible name, but still has the audacity even while losing with the silliest deck in the game to actually scream out "Chaz it up!" as a freakin' catch phrase. Well, to be fair, earlier in the series when he was considered cool by the people in-show, they actually cheered it with him, but after his falling from fame and getting the ludicrous Ojama deck which is almost a living joke (though strangely effective in the actual card game), he still keeps using that tagline with all the hammy hot-blooded awesome in the world, even if no one's around to hear it. If nothing else, I give him credit for making something that admittedly awesome sounding out of an otherwise kinda silly sounding name.

Nice page, but there is one part that could have used improvement.
So I'm guessing that the red cloud underneath Royce is supposed to be him hiding his wings, but it is a bit hard to tell. The shape of the cloudΒ does give a clue, but it is rather vague and I doubt that most people wouldΒ catch on to that and instead think that the wings were simply forgotten.
Maybe if the inner parts of the wings were atached to his back while the outer parts disentegrated into the cloud, it would get the point across that he is summoning them away. Just a tip.
Other than that, I have no complaints.
