Oh I'm not surprised! Overlaying text/bars for information is a big thing, and both this and Skullgirls do make use of the Andes font so that makes sense! I went for this after seeing how they do the BIG TEXT OBNOXIOUS BIT in Kill la Kill. But with more info!

It looks like the right one's pupils may be a bit far - but his eye shape is also super buggy so! I'll consider editing it, sometimes just a pinch to the side does wonders.
