Ta da!!! More TMNT fan art! I have soooooooo many sketches I don't even know what to work on first! Since I've always loved Raph and Mikey's relationship, I thought I'd start with some Raph and Mikey goodness. The fandom could use more pictures of these two knuckleheads. This picture was inspired by season 1, episode 4 (Meet Casey Jones) in the 2003 series. In that episode we get a good glimpse of how heated Raph can get whenever Mikey sets him off. In that episode Raph got really mad and almost seriously injured Mikey, but before the end of the episode we get to see Raph and Mikey bounce back and act like nothing happened. I like that Mikey wasn't scared of Raph after what happened. No matter what happens, Mikey will always love Raph.

Let's talk about Raph and Mikey's relationship. I absolutely love love loveeeeeeeeeeeeee how close they are! These two tease each other like crazy, and Mikey annoys Raph to no end, but at the end of the day, these two brothers share a strong bond. I love how protective Raph is of Mikey. No matter how annoying he finds Mikey at times, Raph would soon rather die than see Mikey get hurt. It's nice, because although Raph struggles with his temper, Mikey still clings onto him and looks up to him. In my eyes, I see Raph as Mikey's hero. Raph is strong and passionate about protecting his family. He's a true warrior that loves his brothers to death. When these two brothers are together, they create this special energy and give off an exciting vibe. I only wish there were more episodes of these two together in the 2003 series.
