This picture is 100% inspired by this amazing fanfic written by lizwuzthere. It was the first Knockout/Miko fanfic I read and it is 100% what I wish we got to see in Transformers Prime. I had watched TFP years ago when it first came out but for some reason I stopped after I finished season 2 and never finished the series. A few weeks ago I decided to re-watch TFP and actually finish it this time, and upon stumbling upon KO/Miko fanart I was rather upset that KO and Miko never actually interacted in the series. I don't count Miko pushing KO down in the last episode as interacting. I really wanted to see how they would interact after Cybertron's restoration, what with Miko's hyperactive and sometimes wreckless behaviour, and Knockout's slow transition from being an Ex Decepticon to becoming an Autobot or Autoboticon. Based on the fanfics that I've read, I bet these two would have become great friends. Both characters have a mischievous streak and I just feel like that would result in the likelihood of them becoming friends. KO may try to act like he hates organics, but deep down I can see him warming up to them and becoming a great Autobot. My gawd, I'm rambling. Anyway, read that fanfic if you get the chance, because these two are hilarious together!

I'm actually quite proud of myself for completing this picture so fast. The sketch was done on the 5th of August, and between work and other things I managed to complete it today, August 14th. Go me! KO may have a smooth and sexy design, but damn is he ever hard to draw! I'm not very good with drawing mechs since I don't really draw mechs, but I think this turned out pretty good.
