This is a really nice piece. I think the turtle's rough skin texture is well done. The shading and the lighting is also nicely done. As well as the detailed work for the scales on the legs. The green and black color pallet seems to work nicely together. The shell I also really like. With the way the shell is detailed it kind of looks like green gems that r on the turtle's. Even if it was not the intention of gems I still think it looks very well done. The background of the shore looks very beautiful and fits very nicely. Nice work! I thought at first it was a carving or molded body with glass or gems inset, and placed with a photograph background, at first glance of the thumbnail. Details and colors are eye-catching. Only thing, if I may offer some constructive criticism, would be the tongue. viewing the larger image, I found the shape, texture, and brightness of it a bit distracting. Made me google 'turtle images' to see their mouths more closely lol. But still very nice work on the whole

Dawwwh he's so cute though, the texture of his scales are really sweet too.

The shading on this is astonishing none the less! I suppose the tongue could've used a bit more work in detail, seeing as the tongue looks more blocky and unrefined compared to the rest of the picture, though this might also be because of the mouth's shape. The tongue's colour still seems out of place to me :c And as a personal preference I'd say I'd prefer a slight Gaussian blur around the turtle rather than a black line, making him blend in, but as I said, this is a personal preference.
