I'm working hard on my drawings and animations, though I didn't really post anything yet... I'm waiting until I have a good drawing to post. Your work really inspired me a lot and gave me new ideas. That actually improved my drawing skill!

I noticed that the new Ben 10: Alien Force characters have a
slightly different drawing style. Is someone else designing the characters or is it still you?

1. Did you design all of the aliens for Ben 10?
2. Do you take requests?
3. Do you work on Ben 10 Alien Force?
4. Besides creating the aliens what else did you do for Ben 10?
5. Do you think any of my aliens would be good for Ben 10?

1. I started on the last episode of Season One. All of the Original 10 aliens and various villains for that season were designed by Dave Johnson, David Williams, and Phil Bourassa. I got to come on and start designing with them at that later point and worked on the show until its end with Season Four.
2. I do not take requests. I work quite a lot and am very busy most of the time. Occasionally I consider commissions. I have a wife and kids to support.
3. I did some freelance character design work on the two part Pilot episode of Alien Force.
4. My responsibilities on Ben 10 were as a character designer, so if there were characters to design be they human / animal / alien I got to work on them with the team I worked with.
5. With the appropriate level of refinement, it is certainly possible.

1. It has been a while, so I may forget some, but here are a few: Ditto, Upchuck, Waybig, Eyeguy, Arctiguana, Spitter, Benwolf/ Fangface the Space Werewolf, Benviktor / Viktor, Benmummy / Space Mummy, Sploot, Gullet, Future Vilgax, Future Dr. Animo Concept (finish by the esteemed Phil Bourassa, ExoSkull, Gluto... and bunches of other stuffs.
2. I did some preliminary rough takes on things. And a giant mechanical Dragon.
3. I believe that you simply need to do a bit more work to refine your skills to the point that you could sport a portfolio that would get you a job working in animation. At this point you may have some very good ideas, but your execution of these ideas could be more polished. At thirteen you have a bit more practice ahead of you, but in time you should do quite well. I did not start working in animation until I was twenty seven and out of artschool for a bit of time.

That taur one is such a deviation from the basic designs of the other five that I can't help but wonder if you tossed it in as sort of a joke, or an "I know this'll be rejected, but..." kind of thing?

The final Benwolf is my favourite of the lot,the rest look...twisted somewhat.I did wonder what happens to his tongue when he does his ultra-sonic howl thing.

That is interesting and problematic. That is the dillema of fan arts. All sorts of folks now have access to air their fandom interests in all their myriad stripes through the interwebs. I try not to browse that sort of stuffs because it holds no interest for me.
