Your explorations on this particular character vary greatly.
Being that they all look so different, I wonder if you wouldn't mind sharing what type of character description guidelines you were given to create this character, or any character for that matter?
It seems you were given room to really experiment which is a good thing.

An interesting question. With Benwolf, the only prerequisites were that he was to be a Space Werewolf with sonic powers. Another example was with Upchuck ( [link] ) were the only initial idea given to me was to create a hero alien whose power was to consume matter and the spit out an explosive projectile. Sometimes you have implicit directions on where the writers and producers want you to go, other times one may have great latitude to explore. Luckily Ben 10 had more of the exploratory opportunities than other gigs I have had in the past.

As for poor decorum amongst those other professionals, I say bad show to them. So long as the fans are respectful to them, it should be returned. After all, where would the professionals be without the fans?

Reply. When I originally designed Benmummy for the show, I hit the look that the bosses liked pretty early on. I got a lot mure variations for Upchuck, Eye Guy, Gluto, and Viktor.

That is one of my favorite designs from the show. The other three being Upchuck, Wildmutt and mutant Kevin 11.
