These are doodles for some characters that I've come up with for a couple of comic ideas that I have.

The one up top is Captain KHIG. Captain KHIG's design is meant to be very reminiscent of the typical image of a comic book hero, with some of my own liberties being taken. I've had an idea to give her a serial comic series, like the funnies that you sometimes see in newspapers, but with Marvel/DC inspired stories.

Chain-Mail is one of a multitude of motifed medieval fantasy character concepts that I've come up with. The idea is that he does things that a typical fictitious medieval fantasy knight would do, except instead of doing it in the name of chivalry and heroism, he does it in the name of delivering mail to the populace. What a pure soul.

There wasn't alot that I would call remarkable about the drawing process for both of these. I had trouble with coming up with a good hat design for Captain KHIG, but that was nothing compared to that mouth. No, I'm not kidding; drawing that mouth singlehandedly gave me more trouble than the rest of the design despite being just one line. I just couldn't get it to look right to save my life! In fact, I still think that the finalized mouth looks off.

As for Chain-Mail's design, I don't have much to say for that one either. I drew the line-art in a day, and the design was mostly improvised on the spot. I'm pretty happy with how it came out, especially since I was rather unsure about some elements at first, like the chestplate. That chestplate is meant to vaguely look like an envelope, by the way.*
