An oldie, and a goodie.

Possibly my oldest drawing that I've ever posted here, this came into existence around a year ago... I think. I don't actually remember the exact time when I drew it. If I did, I would say so.

I randomly came up with this paint creature idea one day, and instead of writing it down in my phone like I usually do now, I almost immediately started drawing it. I'm actually very proud of this, since I knew next to none of the drawing techniques that I do now while drawing it, but it's not apparent in the drawing itself. It actually came out very well.

Part of this is probably due to the showcased character being made out of liquid instead of the usual solids. I don't have the steadiest hands in the world, so my line-art is rather "wiggly" at times. That usually bothers me when I draw, but here, it actually works in the picture's favor. This was also a fun excuse to really let loose with my colored pencil collection.

Sure, it's not perfect, but for what it is and the time at which I drew it, I'm really happy with the result.

Any constructive criticism is still appreciated, even if this is a whole year old.
