Description
"The suspect is believed to still be in the area. If you see someone resembling the person described here today, please immediately alert local authorities. She is heavily armed..."The dusty trail ain't kind to the unwitting cyborgs of this world. Augmentation laws, maintenance fees, and the like catch up to ya like the damning rays of the rising sun. The best you can do is shuffle along and do what you can to make your two cents and get by, all whilst fighting for shade.
Such is the outlook of 'Six Gunner Serena,' one of the many flesh-and-steel byproducts of the Synco Living Armaments Program, also known as SLAP. Once a simple-minded cult film buff looking for the easy ways forward, Serena never really cared for making meaningful steps in life. One day, Serena volunteered for one of Synco's prosthetic augment programs, seeing a convenient opportunity to have her underdeveloped arms supplanted with experimental mechanical alternatives. Instead, her limbs were replaced with fully functional ballistic firearms. She got the limbs she was looking for, but she also got a replacement torso full of ammo and now has legally dubious contraband on her person at all times.
The arms are a feature rich set of weapons, with pistol functionality in the hands - all she needs to do is flip out the proper hand sign - and the ability to detach one arm and use it as a shotgun. Useful for when she needs an extra kick.
With a new body, an old mind, and a new set of issues to contend with, Serena saw little choice than to try to vanish into the shadows. She now wanders the streets of Neo-Honolulu taking bounty contracts. She dons the get up of her favorite western pulp characters, a limp reminder of her care-free past, and takes on a new moniker.
It's far from dignified work, and far from anything she's proud of, but desperado times call for desperado measures.

Serena's lil' character sheet thing is finally done! It's been a while in the making, but I'm happy with the result. Six Gunner Serena is a very self-indulgent design of mine, and I had quite a bit of fun tackling it again.
It also feels good to have another properly finished piece of upload to the 'ol internet-sphere. It's taken far too long, but I feel like I've finally started to get back into the swing of things with posting art online. I also feel like I've gotten over that nagging feeling that I should make something so that I can post it, and have instead been making things independent of any need for that, and THEN deciding to post them online. It's a nice feeling.
I hope to keep this momentum going. Revisiting this design's actually motivated me to revisit a couple others, one of which I've even shown on here before. however, that is for another day.
Have a nice time staring at the draws, folks!
Stroodles!
