Description
This doesn't take place during any episode, but rather between two episodes. In my headcanon, Famous 5s and Boxing Day take place about five days apart, and Five is pretty much traumatised during the former episode, making her too worried to leave the sofa during the latter. What happens between that timeframe? Well, Six decides that he's going out during a mission the day after Famous 5s, and he finds the Puzzler is causing more trouble. So, Six understandably lashes out at the Puzzler, and Four, Five and Three are getting a little worried back at base.Related content

(Three is launched)

Four: Finding a three...got a three.

Three: (lands) Okay. I'm off to see that girl and her toys.

(Another Agent calls.)

Six: Agents ringing in.

Agent: Agent 67 here, more problems. Its a boy and his notebooks.

Four: Onscreen.
Six: There's five of them. And if it's like the toys...

Agent: Three extra notebooks appeared.

Three: (hops over) I'm here. Let's see... (glancing over) One, two, three, four, five, and then one, two, three. Yep, same thing.

Four: What could be causing this?

Six: Let's try and figure out how many things there are altogether. That could give us a clue.

Three: Yeah.

Three: Five things turning into eight things? Hmm... Four, Six, remember other missions where something like this happened? One time, four things and one thing became seven things, and another time, three things became nine.

(Just then, the Puzzler appeared out of nowhere.)
Three/Six/Four: Puzzler!

Puzzler: Well, this is quite the surprise. I thought the Numberjack coming out would be Five.

Three: Not this time! She's resting!

Puzzler: *Thinking* That's unusual. *Talking* Well, the time I've had was just great. I've had captured Numberjack Eight.

Four: Oh no!
Six: Again?!

Eight: Help!
Three: I'd take that as a yes.

Four: What can we do?!

Six: Don't panic for a start.

Three: Yeah, Four, you always panic.

Six: There's no time to argue.
Puzzler: You Numberjacks need to think back. If you can remember the different ways of adding to eight, things will be on track.

Three: Uh...what are the ways of adding to eight?

Four: Let's think...
Six: Hmm... Four, remember when the Shape Japer was messing up eights?

Three: You handled the mission by jumping over things twice to fix them.
Four: Of course. Two lots of four make eight.

Six: Yes! Two lots of four make eight! I'll get the brain-gain started.

(Brain-gain song plays. Two had come up with his own blocks, and Three's, Four's and Five's blocks too.)
Two: Need help?

Six: We need Four's blocks to go into the brain-gain machine with him to have two lots of four.
Two: Four's blocks here.

Four: Ok, put them in the brain-gain.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
(Four's blocks hop in, as does Four himself)
Four: Four and four make eight.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
(Brain-gain goes flying and reaches Three)
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Three: Four and four make eight. (She fires it at Eight's bubble)
Eight: Good start, Three.

Puzzler: Four and four eight, its true. Now, can you think of way two?
