Description
This doesn't take place during any episode, but rather between two episodes. In my headcanon, Famous 5s and Boxing Day take place about five days apart, and Five is pretty much traumatised during the former episode, making her too worried to leave the sofa during the latter. What happens between that timeframe? Well, Six decides that he's going out during a mission the day after Famous 5s, and he finds the Puzzler is causing more trouble. So, Six understandably lashes out at the Puzzler, and Four, Five and Three are getting a little worried back at base.Related content

Indeed. I think I know what made her come out again:
A couple of days after the events of Boxing Day, (I'd say about two days, so add on the five days between Famous 5s and Boxing Day, that's an entire week where Five's refused to leave the sofa), Six asks her if she's ready to give it a go. Five is still a bit scared, but Six offers to go with her, leaving Four and Three to man the control room together. They go out to check the problem, and it turns out Spooky Spoon is making people act the opposite of who they should be. Spooky manages to do this to Six as well. Five is at a loss of what to do for a second, then gets mad at Spooky, angrily telling her to switch Six back. When Spooky doesn't listen, Three fires up the Brain-Gain machine to get people and Six back to normal, and Five even fires brain-gain at Spooky, to make her scared of herself. Six is shocked at the way he behaved, but Five assures him it wasn't his fault. When back at base, Five realised she had the spark of confidence back that she had lost when the Puzzler got her, and Six is relieved that Five is back to her normal self.

And it also adds more fuel to the Five and Spooky rivalry.

It especially shows during Time Trouble. Come to think of things, that mission was a bit risky for Five as well, considering she could have gotten hurt by falling off the edge.

Well, she did, but Six and Three's quick thinking managed to help her fall slowly.

That too. Brain-gain is quite powerful stuff.

If the brain-gain went wrong in that instance, that really would have set the Numberjacks on a tangent.

I can imagine things would go a little something like this:
Six: Make her fall take lots of time.
Three: (Hops into the machine; Quickly) Lots of time, lots of time!
Four: Oh no!
(The brain-gain goes toward Five, but Spooky blocks it ala Seaside Adventure and Five falls down.)
Five: Ouch! Ow...
Six: (Horrified) FIVE!
Three: Oh no! What did I do?
Four: It wasn't you, Three. Spooky, you've really done it now!

Six: That...is...it! You have taken this far too much!

Three: You go out there, Six. Get ready for launching.

Six: (Worried) Five, I'm here. Where are you?

Six: Where does it hurt?

Five: Well, my back hurts.

Six: You go back and get rest back at home. I'll deal with Spooky.

(Landing scene)
Four: You get some rest, Five. We've got this.

Three: Yeah! We'll handle this ourselves.

Five: O-okay. Be careful... ouch... (she heads down to the bedroom)
Spooky: I can't believe I took one of you guys out like that!

Three: Its your fault!

Spooky: And because of that, I will be spending a long time causing trouble.
Four: (Quietly) Not if we can help it. Three, set the beeper to zero.

Three: (sets beeper to zero)

Four: Good. Now send the braingain.
Three: (Hops in) Spooky Spoon is causing trouble for... no time at all.
Agents: No time at all/zero time.

(The brain-gain reaches Six and fires it at Spooky.)
