Every year I repaint this sad Snow Elf. He's reminiscing about his family who were slaughtered by Nordic warriors.He's grown up each time I've painted him, and his design has changed, you can see the previous versions below.

He is a sad one. I showed it to a friend of mine, who now thinks it's hilarious to cover and uncover the Elf's eyes, so his expression goes from sad to bored.

Awwww thanks! Getting those pinks in the piece was important to make him feel alive, otherwise he'd look like a grey statue in the snow. I like his current design best, but it's cool to look back and see how he's changed though.
