I love, and I mean absolutely love, that even as a witness to a flashback Naruto still either consciously or subconsciously sat down to eat ramen. Like this is somehow real. Its perfect.

I really love your story and drawings I can't wait for the next one. I think it is a shame you didn't use the cloth and hair styl fron the last. I really loved the new styl, but that's is my opinion.
You know I really love NaruHina and SakuSasu. But I also like NaruSaku. I didn't mind if SakuNaru were canon. Although I couldn't stand the thought that Sakura and Sasuke were not a couple. For me Sakura and Sasuke are the number one pairing.
About Naruto The Last: I was very disappointed in the movie. Of course I loved the drawings, but the storyline was not what I had in mind. At least I wanted Naruto to confess his feelings to Sakura. What I really hate about the movie is the fact that they say Naruto never really loved Sakura. That Naruto only loved Sakura because she loves Sasuke and that he didn't want to lose to Sasuke. Bullshit
This is what I wanted to happen in the movie.
Naruto really loved Sakura from the beginning and it really hurted him to see her so happy with Sasuke (Oh, btw in my opinion Sasuke and Sakura are already a couple before the movie). From the beginning Naruto knew that he couldn't replace Sasuke. He couldn't make Sakura happy the way Sasuke did. This is the only fight were Naruto couldn't beat Sasuke. In the movie Naruto still struggles with his feelings. He goes on a mission with only Hinata to rescue Hanabi (You know how Naruto is. Always saving his friends.)
Then he discovers that Hinata has someone she loves. At first he support her without knowing the person that Hinata loves is him. Then Naruto feelings change a little. He doesn't understand it himself. The only thing he knows is that it is the same feeling as when he sees Sakura together with Sasuke (jealousy) The more time he spent with Hinata the more his feelings become confused.
One night Naruto ask Hinata for advice. He tells her that he loves Sakura, but that he doesn't know what to do. When Hinata hears Naruto real feelings she is really hurt. That is the moment Tonari comes to pick Hinata up. Hinata gives Naruto the scarf and says: I don't need it anymore. Goodbyé Naruto-kun. (As a sign she has gived up on Naruto or something like that). The real shock comes when Naruto hears Hinata and Tonari are getting married.
When Naruto is passed out all the memories with Hinata fload in his head. He realise Hinata's true feelings and that the one who hurted Hinata the most is no one other than himself.
When Naruto wakes up he sees that Sakura, Sai and Shikamaru have come to save him.
Naruto don't know how to face Hinata, so he don't want to save her or the world. He hate himself for never realising Hinata's true feelings. The fact there was his whole life someone watching him and loving him.
Sakura is the one who heals Naruto heart. She tells him that no matter how many times a girl get hurted by the one she loves, one smile or thank you gives a thousend happines back. A girls true feellings won't change that easilly. Sakura is talking about Hinata, but Naruto knows she is also talking about herself and he realise why he fell in love with her in the first place.
At that moment, when the sun goes up. Naruto confess his feelings to Sakura. The feelings he had for her from the first time they met. He loved the Sakura who loves Sasuke and he doesn't want Sakura to change. So for the LAST time he gives his heart to Sakura before he moves on. Before he goes to save Hinata.
The rest is bassically the same as the real movie.
This is how I wished the movie went.

Regarding "The Last" I must say I like your version of the movie, there's no doubt it would have been a lot better this way.
I also hate the part when they said Naruto never really loved Sakura, it's pure bullshit. I couldn't agree more with you in that point.
Something I don't realy like about Naruto series is Sakura's relationship with Sasuke and her blind love for him. She is a good character with a good evolution during the series but she reverts into her old self in the last two chapters and becomes a Sasuke fangirl again destroying all her character development. Sasuke is a dick with her, never really cares or shows her any affection and almost kills her twice and despite all of this she still loves him. In my opinion I don't think their relationship is a good example.

I agree with you, which is why sakuras feelings should have changed seeing how cool naruto became and he saved the village many times and beat sasuke and brought him back and she realizes after sasuke comes back that she doesnt feel love the same way anymore for him and instead loves naruto

I would like to tell you why I love Sasuke and Sakura so much. I'm not trying to change your mind or something. If you hate Sasuke so be it. I think it's going be a long text again, so I hope you will still read it
I do understand why you hate their relationship. Sasuke really was a ashole (thought I liked that about him), but he really has changed. It is true that in the first serie Sasuke never showed attention to Sakura in a romantically way. But if Sasuke didn't really care about Sakura at all, his curses mark would never have stopped during the Chuunin exams when Sakura hugs him and he saw her crying face. I really loved it how mad Sasuke was when he saw how badly hurt Sakura was. This was the scene I seriously fell in love with SasuSaku.
The moment I wished they become a couple was the scene when Sasuke left the village. Sakura's feelings for Sasuke had changed from a fangirl to real love. She really would do anything to make him happy. Sasuke knews that, but at the time Sasuke's heart didn't have the room for falling in love with someone. His heart was filled with hatred and revenge. It was his reason to life when he lost everything he loves. Just like Naruto, who reason to life was to become Hokage and get everyone to recognize him, he couldn't give up on his reason to life so easilly. Even if he had found a new reason to life and maybe, this is just my thought, Sasuke was also scared to love someone. Afraid to lose it again. I loved the way Sasuke said: "You're annoying" You could see, feel and hear how much Sasuke cared about Sakura (not in a romantically way). By saying this he was trying to stop her from following him. Sasuke knew the road ahead would be rough and he didn't want that Sakura would follow the same road or drag her into this mess. I think this, because right after this he said: "Thank you". For me it means: 'Thank you for everything you have done, for trying to stop me, for wanting to be by my side and for loving someone like me.'
I know what you mean with Sakura destroying her character development in the second serie. I don't think that the problem lies by Sasuke, but by the way how Kishimoto had written the story. When I saw the fight between Sakura and Sasori I thought: 'Sakura is so cool' and I was dying for Sakura to have more fight scenes just about her and not as a extra. I was really disappointed when she didn't got a special scene. There were some scene I wanted to see different. For exmple.
The scene when Sasuke was thrown into a other dimension and Sakura was trying her best to bring him back. There was something I wanted to change, to bring more feels in the scene. I wanted the piece that Sakura loses her chakra and fell down to be in slow motion, so you could hear her thinking: 'I knew it. I can't bring Sasuke back. The only one who can bring him back is you, Naruto'. While she thinks this she sees the memories about Naruto and his promise and Sasuke who left the village and saying "you're annoying" to her. Sakura means with this that Sasuke really don't care about her. Then Sasuke catches her and prove her wrong. At the same time Sakura thinks about Sasuke saying "thank you" in the past says the real Sasuke also "thank you".
The second scene I wanted to be different was the scene that Sasuke puts Sakura in a Genjutsu. When Sakura said: "If there is a little corner of your heart thinking about me..." I was really like "of my gosh. Why do you let Sakura say that Kishimoto?" I would have prefer for Sakura to say (the beginning is the same): "If there was any way to put your and Naruto's darkness and sadness onto myself I would already done it way before. I don't want to see you getting hurt anymore. I will do anything to make you smile again, so please don't go. Don't leave us behind again."
During the last battle between Naruto and Sasuke they didn't only destroy the statues but also the forest around it. When Sakura and Kakashi arrive at the beginning of the area Sakura is really shocked and afraid of what lies ahead. Kakashi tells her to go, but Sakura don't want to leave him behind. Kakashi says to Sakura: "Just go already. Have you forgotten why you began to train as a medical ninja in the first place?" Sakura runs toward the center of the area. In the meantime the memories of Naruto, Sasuke and team 7 are floading through her head. She thinks: "I have learn so much from you two. I was always walking behind them and watching their backs. I began to train, because I wanted to walk next to them. I have sworn to myself that this time it would be different. This time I will protect them, so don't leave me behind. Because I'm also a part of team 7. Don't you dare to die on your own. I will not let you die. No way I let it happen!!!
The last scene had nothing to do with SasuSaku, but still I wanted it to change. I hope you understand now a little why I love SasuSaku so much and why I think that the problem not by Sasuke lies, but by the story?
Anyway I am really curious if your story gets a NaruHina end or a NaruSaku end?

I absolutely hate sasusaku for reasons that I don't feel like arguing about. But your version would have been much more accepting for the narusaku fanbase. Not completely, but it at least acknowledges that Naruto's feelings for Sakura were genuine, they weren't just a red herring trick. So thanks for that. NaruSaku 4 life.

Every new page that I read makes me smile and that last part with Naruto really made me laugh as he has no idea what is going on as far as we know that is but that's what makes reading this so cool.
And it seems that Ino sees that Sakura really likes Naruto as well which shall be fun what happens in thae next page and if things start getting dark in Sakura's genjutsu.

Two things, 1) I love how Naruto still is eating some ramen noodles, even though he should be as confused and feel extremely out of place here. He's just, I'm not passing up perfectly good dream ramen. 2) I thought this was supposed to be Naruto's subconscious from the crab. How is he seeing a Sakura flashback talking to Ino?
