This redesign came about because I didn't like Red robin's suit, It looked to much like Dr Midnites and the cowl just looked like batman's with out the ears. So i figured put my money where my mouth is and this is what i came up with. The younger generation is always more willing to embrace technology so i thought Red Robin would use tech to enhance his abilities. His armour is made from a very flexible, strong, temperature resistant alloy. I gave him a helmet rather than a cowl for many reasons , it offers more protection, can have a whole host of readouts (like ironman) and is extra handy when it comes time for a head butt!more in part 2...

Hi I'm not sure if this is something you'll find cool, or frustrating, but I think DC / Greg Capullo co-opted your helmet design. It's on page 14 of Batman issue 46.

What a great improvement! Very sleek and stylish.
I never liked those things across red robin chest. This is much better, specially the logo on the belt and the mask/helmet.
I'm not sure about the inner cape color though...
I'm checking some others works of yours and I have to say I really like them.

Great job. I think this captures the Batman / Robin legacy while thoroughly modernizing it. Not to be fanboyish but, it's really much better than the new one they've put him in.

Very nice! love the helmet and the emblem belt buckle. also continuing the red into the legs in a techy armory way was a brilliant move. as was continuing the grey into the red of the top. teh helmet reminds of batman but is clearly its own design. really cool.

etw33zy When I was designing the suit I imagined it all as one suit, a super high tech light weight flexible battle armour.
Something that would enhance his natural abilities as well as regulate his body temp,as well as being fire proof, water proof, state of the art Surveillance and communications abilities and stealth enhancements very much a prototye for the Batman Beyond suit

Impressive; the helmet definitely feels more practical. Are the feet section separate, though, or is it all part of the leggings? In any case, a very interesting redesign. It feels as if it could be in either the current Red Robin or even the universe of Batman Beyond. (A compliment, by the by: I love Batman Beyond.

Fantastic! I hate that they are keeping him as Red Robin to me it's a tainted name and boring costume. I've been wishing they would change it to Red Wing and do something like this. So much for hoping I've also been dreaming about a real costume for superboy and a name change for him and Kidflash. I have a whole series worked up in my head and plotted for those three.
