They were quite tasty.
Been a while since I've drawn something... and this particular picture (if I do say so myself) has some of the best bits of perspective and hand-shape that I've ever managed.
The shading kinda fell flat, though. All the same, it came out.
This guy is based on a striped dolphin, Stenella coeruleoalba.
I've drawn a striped dolphin merman before, although I gave him a much different color scheme. I think I like this setup better. It has a certain charm.

I like the picture in general, but not how he's shaped. Instead of looking part dolphin and party boy he looks like there was a dolphin between his legs and they were morphed together.

Yes, there is a bit of a disconnect in there... I do know what you mean. I have been trying to think about how to do that well without making him just another anthro/furry character. (As it stands, though, I think this still looks like a more sensible combination than, say, Ariel.)

If you want to make him more unique give him the face of a dolphin and the body of a person! Or to be really unique just draw a dolphin. xD

I do draw dolphins from time to time (I just don't generally upload those pictures). That's not the point of this. 
Also, I don't particularly care for the reverse setup. XD I don't think I need to explain that.

And what do fish eat? Other fish. Totally not cannibalism. (Plus, a dolphin isn't a fish.)
Plus, "Thanks for all the fish" is a quote, which I would hope you'd be aware of.
