Description
This picture has been begging me to finish it for weeks now. I've really not felt like doing anything particularly useful for a while, but now I'm feelin' good, and I'd like to think I can accomplish a lot!

Today, I have for you a Mimic Octopus (Thaumoctopus mimicus) merboy. The colors for him (except for hair and eyes) are straight off a picture of a real one.

The real mimic octopus has an impressive ability to completely change its colors instantly, and move around to mimic various dangerous sea creatures. These colors are pretty much the "standard" colors for it.

And for the eyes, while deciding exactly what color to do, it occurred to me that if I were an octopus-kid who could completely change my colors whenever I felt like it, I'd definitely give myself heterochromata from time to time.
