lighting and rendering could use some work as mentioned, but I think it's a helluva good start you know? I mean the modeling is great, which is the "hardest" part... most important. I tell you what you may want to try with this, you may want to
1.) make your paint and rims less reflective. Maybe make the paint a little less bright.
2.) try creating an ambient light with ray trace shadows turned on and a value of 0 for your light (basically creates a shadow without casting a light) and do the same for a point light, and position those above the vehicle somewhere.
3.) in the settings, find if you can use an HDR image to be your light source (I use MAYA and it's in the render settings under an option called "environment" you just select that image and have it emit light from it's data, which will also cause the reflections to reflect that image, so if you had a garage HDR image would be cool)
Basically this would soften the light and make it feel more realistic. The two non-lights (casting shadows) will give you a realistic shadow, while the HDR Image will give you good lighting with realistic reflection.

I hope I'm not too confusing. and I don't know anything about cinema 4d, so I'm not sure how the terminology carries over from where I use maya.
