This is a little scary. This is a very strange shot to me. I have a soft spot (haaa~) for women's bones - shoulder blades, clavicles, ankle bones - I find them all very beautiful. On one hand this is a very beautiful image, with lovely light and abstract curves highlighting the beauty of the body. On the other hand, it brings up vaguely Auschwitz-like imagery, which makes it a little disturbing.
But hey, I guess that's what great artists do - create controversy. Still, I'll agree with people who said that a comment from you would be nice.

great piece. but doesn't this support this anorexic image of female beauty we have in our society anyway? i dont say nothing about the techniqe (its probably one of the best shots I've ever seen here) but what does it transport?

The lighting it beautiful, the content is extremely disturbing. She looks far too thin to be healthy. If it weren't for the fact that I can see her pelvis bone protruding so drastically I could simply saying she was sucking in her breath, but...

What strikes me in this picture, is that it hardly looks like one would think of as the human form, therfore eliminating all real taboos and leaving only a purely artistic persepective of the photo. The lighting is also what strikes one as odd and almost de-forming again, of the human form. It is amazing.

Odd picture, very alien. There blatent nudity but nothing sexual. If anything she is unatractive and cold. It's a great picture and/or manipulation because rock your perseption of how you should be feeling. She has become a total object.
And well yeah she is skinny, but it's far from glamourous or sexy so no fowl on the play.
