Love this! Really. I glanced at this at first on the DD page, skimming through the thumbnails without much consideration for any one in particular. But looking at this up close now, you've clearly made something that's your own. At first i thought it was going to be another stereotypical steampunk helmet of sorts (that DA is littered with) but upon closer inspection you've really turned this into a unique style. It's not quite as machine/steam constructed in that rugged, clockwork, mechanics kinda way. It's more like medieval/renaissance garb mixed with the "found objects" aesthetic but without looking scrapped together or junky AT ALL. Seriously, nice work!... Otherwise i wouldn't have written a novel here...

Thank you everyone for your very kind words. The helmet was based on Darth Vader for its basic shape. All the rest is just made up. For the cold cast resin pieces (everything gray except for the horn) I fabricate the models out of found objects, sculpted clay and laser cut acrylic sheet, then I mold the models and cast them in resin. My wife and I go to lots of yard sales and flea markets where I collect odd bits and pieces that can be made to look steampunk.
