Description For my Spelljammer game, I like to pull my npcs from esoteric 3rd party sources so there's always a character that hopefully the players (let alone the player characters) have never seen.  In my current game, there's a giff paladin of Tymora, so I've been looking for a character based on luck (bad luck, hopefully) and probably gambling...  Well, one of the first set pieces I decided on in the game would be a trip a Rakdos Carnarium.  In the Carnival (Ravenloft), Wild Beyond the Witchlight (Fey wild) and in the Midnight Circus (white wolf world of darkness) the various circuses have marketplaces, entertainers, etc that follow the actual circus and set up shop.  The Midnight Circus specifically has a gambling hall that follows the circus.  Then I read Extinction Agenda adventure path for Pathfinder, and one of the villains is an undead gambler who can use bad luck as a weapon (called a bone croupier).  Excellent. Check 1. Then I saw a supplement from Legendary Games called Legendary Cartomancer, a magic user that casts spells from a deck of 54 cards (counting jokers). Each card is a seperate spell, and he can also throw them, ala Gambit with a magic punch.  This should be unike anything they could ever have expected....

edit: fixed...hopefully... that troublesome right arm
