Description
Another custom Sentai ranger that is based upon the Goseiger/Megaforce series. I do know that in Goseiger that there was a Gosei Green, but was only a recolor of Gosei Blue. Seeing as Megaforce hasn't explained the lack of two water-based rangers, I decided to give it a shot. The animal motif of green is that of a crocodile. I thought the Croc Zord could be interesting enough for the Megazord and liked the challenge of designing the helmet.Enjoy!

it's only on my computer, not in my gallery. It's basically Miralupa's blue ranger but with the gold parts silver, the visor covering where the mouthplate should be, and diagonal pixels coming from the head of the shark. And green of course.

I like the twist of making it a narwhal. It's something that isn't too mainstream. Kudos to the unique selection!

Reading up on Goseiger Green lead to me finding this page: [link] . It's interesting seeing some of the "Extra Rangers", especially the handful who don't get keys for Gokaiger. Plus the latest one gives me some ideas...
Anyway having not watcher either the sentai version or the PR adaptation yet I'm not sure what to say in terms of how this stands when compared to the other characters in the franchise. However I do like the detailing on his chest and the way you did his helmet. It's a shame this character didn't get much time in Goseiger and thus probably won't in the PR adaptation (although I do think it would be great if they can expand on him, especially as they might be able to draw more parallels with MMPR).

That post reminds me why I enjoyed the idea of Dekaranger/ SPD, the fact there were 10+ rangers in the series. Tis a shame that quite a few of them didn't receive a key. Oh well.
From what I gather, Gosei Green was an exact carbon copy of Gosei Blue but with green instead of blue. I believe he didn't even last a whole episode as he dies relatively quick. I do know his presence was to show that there were two rangers from each tribe but that's about it.

I agree, as well as the fact the Gold Ranger didn't get featured again. I do like the design and feel the gold/black look worked well. From what I've seen most gold rangers seem to have too much detail (i.e. the one from the Magi Ranger series) or gold and another colour, like the one in Samurai. By no means a bad design choice but I'd like to see one that's similar to the existing characters and from what I've seen so far, Kyoryu Gold seems to comply to this bar shoulder pads.
I know next to nothing about Gosei (although I am about to watch this review - [link] ) so I can't really comment on that other than fair enough. Going back to what I said above, I do feel Gosei Knight's design is a bit OTT as well with all the armour etc. so I would have preferred green to him but hey ho.

I tend to agree with some of the sixth rangers detail being a bit too much. MagiShine looks armored compared to the others, yet he is the Light God, so I guess it makes sense why he's got more than the other Magirangers. Kyoryu Gold looks too much like a yellow ranger to me and the design of the Kyoryugers is quite odd with the shoulder pad and 'sash' stripe.
I thought the angel twist to the Goseigers was a bit different, yet why the sixth ranger is a robot confuses me. I do like that Gosei Knight turns into the Lion zord, but he should have just been a Bangai Hero.

Personally I like the shade of gold used for Kyoryu Gold but that's just me. I agree with you about MagiShrine's design but then again he's not part of the family in MagiRanger and is a hero from a previous era in Mystic Force so I guess it makes sense.
I'm not sure if you saw the review I pointed to but the reviewer says he felt not using Green was a wasted opportunity and I completely agree with both that and him being more of a Bangai Hero.

When I said that Kyoryu Gold looks more like a yellow ranger, I didn't mean to say that I didn't like the concept as I find him to be visually interesting enough as a sixth ranger. I read an article on how the designer thought the use of a yellow ranger was pointless for Kyoryuger. Something about how if there was a Kyoryu Yellow, it would have been male, seeing as he didn't think another female was suitable. (It was a weird article.) I do like the use of blue with the gold for Kyoryu Gold. I haven't watched any Kyoryuger episodes yet, so I don't know how I feel about him being a samurai from centuries past. It seems a bit odd, but hey, if it works, it's not a problem at all.

I think I read the same, which is odd when you consider all the times yellow has been male. Perhaps Power Ranger's influence changed it for them?
I wasn't aware he was a samurai but I do like the idea of the "older generation", especially if it means a handful of unique colours (i.e. Cyan, Navy etc.).

The more I think about it, the more I do like the overall concept of Kyoryu Gold. I don't know if I mentioned this, but my dinosaur sentai that I'm working on changes up the old rut that I feel previous dinosaur sentai imposed like having Red as a t-rex, a female pteradactyl (which is why I think I like Kyoryu Gold), etc.
I found the article a bit bizarre IMO, but I think there is a possibly that PR had something to do with it. I did notice there's a preview of Kyoryugers where they have Tyranno Red and Dragon Ranger appearing with American flag belts and acting like the PR instead of sentai, so that should be interesting how that'll work out.
I think they are taking a page out of Jungle Fury, seeing as they made the Old Masters rangers like a green elephant, black bat, etc. which I think works well.

I didn't realise Gold's mech was a pteradactyl. I did recently discover a YouTube channel that has the Kyoryungers episodes on it so I may catch up when I get some spare time.
And I'm afraid you're a little mistaken there. That actually came from Akibaranger, which is more of a parody Sentai series. It seems interesting and even created a dark yellow ranger known as Tento Raiger , who teamed up with the Gouraigers to make "Jakanger". I'm not sure if she has a colour outside of "Dark Yellow", Haze maybe. It's a shame as I wanted to use that colour for Nibanme when I saw the earlier pictures.
I've actually become interested in drawing them. Apparently Super Megaforce won't have any American exclusive Rangers in it, so I've been tempted to draw a team made up of them, Titanium Ranger and S.P.D Orange from Boom's dream.

Yep, I'll own up to the mistake. I did mean to say Akibaranger, as it's unofficial Sentai even though official Sentai have appeared on the show and there will be Gokaiger keys of the Akibarangers.
I won't lie, I think Tento Raiger is a neat idea, but man, that suit is awful! Just might have to give a stab at it...
Sounds like a fun idea! I'm very disappointed about the lack of the Titanium Ranger for Super Megaforce, but disappointment is the word I'd use to describe the whole concept. On a side note, Megaforce is on a mini-hiatus as it's been a month since the latest episode aired.

And I would be keen to see what you do. I think removing the chest piece/making her similar to how the other Gouraigers look could fix it. I do wish they gave her colour an official "dark" variant like Crimson and Navy as well. I've gone through about three or four possibilities trying to classify it for my own needs 
So far it looks like more and more people are appearing. I've seen Titanium in one pic and a few of the Disney era characters in a recent pic.

I saw the same image, so at least they aren't kicking him to the curb. I have a feeling since they have Lightspeed Red and Pink, that Titanium might play a key role in an episode. Tis a shame we won't actually get to see Ryan, but oh well.

I am wondering what they're doing with the old rangers. I was under the impression only the ten or so mentioned on the wikia page were the ones we'd see but now I'm wondering if it's otherwise. Maybe they'll just partake in some variant on the Legendary War but the ten or so are the ones who'll get real screen time.
Having said that, I have taken to collecting the Mega Bloks mini figs (as previously mentioned) and if their inclusion makes it easier to either complete my Samurai collection or get characters like Green Ranger Tommy and White Ranger Tommy, well, .

Actually, in the second series of Megaforce Mega Bloks, they did show a transculent Red Power Ranger (Jason), so it wouldn't surprise me if they make a Green and a White.
And yes, I will have to obtain those somehow too!

To be honest I may ask for a hand in getting some of them if it's alright. They're pretty rare in the UK, which is why I've had to use Amazon and eBay sellers to get it (and end up spending more than they're really worth) and I heard there were codes that identified who was inside with the Samurai waves, so hopefully these are "kept" for the next waves.

All MegaBloks blindbags have codes on the back. That's how I figure out what's in the bags. It's easier than feeling. I've bought some Halo MegaBloks figures, and they too have the codes.

I'm certainly after the "Gokai" costumes - assuming of course all of them are in the blind bags like it seems the Megaforce costumes seem to be. I may also be after the MMPR set, but I'd like to see some more photos of it to get a better judge of it.

I'm pretty sure they'll make Gokaiger mini figs, but the releases from Mega Bloks can be a pain seeing as series 3 for Samurai came out early this year and Samurai was done.Β
I'm curious on the cost of the MMPR set. If it's a TRU exclusive, that'll make it that much harder to obtain. Fingers crossed it's not.

I have to admit, the more I look at the larger Megaforce figs, the more I grow to like them. I didn't realise there's been such a gap between release though. They've also not as common on eBay as I thought they would.
I think I've read it's somewhere between $20 and $30 but I'm not 100% sure.
