Description Alas, I get to working on more detailed versions of my Kisetsugers, this time starting with Green. I like the concept of having him have a prior knowledge of how to use the powers and lying dormant until needed. Playing off of the idea that spring often brings new life to plants after winter, he brings new life into the form of the new ranger team.

Also, using their respective seasons, I like the idea of giving him a more energetic personality, making him often jump to conclusions and being relatively optimistic. His main power consists of nature.

Enjoy!

I'd actually think that if Super Sentai were to do a season-themed Ranger team, they would more likely make the Spring Ranger a Pink Ranger.  In Japan, Spring is usually associated with Pink due to the blooming sakura trees.

I do like that idea for a pink Sakura ranger. Thanks!

I have to say, I think your art has gone up a stage. The pose on this and the other two Kisetsuger pics just seem more dynamic, detailed and generally have more going for them. I really dig the design of the staff, especially the fact it has their helmet emblem on it and the way you drew the stump (especially the way you coloured it), vines and leaves also look really good .

I wanted to push the dynamics of my sentai, seeing as I've made so many and some of the poses started to repeat IMO. (I don't know if you caught it, but I have always had my Reds performing some form of a jump attack, so that is intentional.) Since this sentai is more of an elemental-based team, I really wanted to incorporate said elements with each ranger. I'm glad that shows and sadly, the next team I have drawn up isn't so dynamic!

You know, I can't say I noticed all the Reds were jumping! But I do agree with how frustrating trying to get dynamic sentai poses can be. Outside of trying to think up good designs for me team, I'm also trying to think up some great sentai-esk line up/roll call poses and honestly keep drawing blanks so my hat is off to you for succeeding with your teams.

I have often drawn a pose for a new Ranger and looked back and it was extremely similar to a previous ranger, so yeah, it can be frustrating. They aren't easy and I think that why several roll call poses have gotten goofy. I do like ToQger's spiral roll call shot for some odd reason and that's about all I like so far from the series.

I'm thinking I may go with battle ready poses myself. I'm hoping to carry on working with *censored* this weekend, who I plan to be facing the viewing but standing on a slanted ground, so one foot is higher than the other.

And I agree. It's different to most if not all the other roll call poses I've seen so far, so hats off to doing that idea and concept.
