You work is absolutely lovely, and you use textures masterfully. When paired with your method of shading, the end result has so much subtle detail that it really pops off the screen.

This method seems much more approachable (and I find it looks much nicer than the "normal" coloring style, to be honest.)

can i do the same if i scanned a already drawn image then from step2 do everything elsa, or does it has to be digitally drawn, cuz i am really crapy drawing figures straight on PS. lol

Sorry to bother you but when l want to color my pencils without inking them digitally l can't select the parts l want to color properly and l usually loose the parts of the pencils. What to do to color them but to leave the lineart intact (exactly the same)?

turn the lineart layer to multipy, that usually does it

ahhh, thank you! You make it look so easy and simple. It might have been just a little better if the picture you used had less detail or we had a bigger view of it. I get the general idea of what you do (which is really coolβdifferent from what I use, which makes it all the more interesting!

lovely tutorial. thank you so much. how do you get your sketches so clean? when i scan mine they always look so scratchy and you can see the texture of the paper a lot. i'm thinking i might be using too thick of a pencil. what do you use?
