I wanted to experiment a bit with light on this one, so I made this guy - 'Ashen' (I know - not very original name ^w^ ), and his two pet Fire Fish. Usually they live inside his eyes, so his eyes are normally yellow/white, but when he needs them they appear as free-floating fire fish, and his eyes turn to an ashy brown.Learnt a lot about creating a 'glow' for this pic - I hope it paid off!

colours and glow are sooooo nice, man how do you do it
they remind me of koi, I love those fish, and the purple in the hair really sets it off

Thank you so much! I wanted to create a lot of contrast to make sure the orange glow stood out, so I ended up using opposite hues on the colour reel to create the purple shadows - I'm glad it turned out okay! Still working on refining the technique though... ^w^
