Description
So, the first fanart was a bit of a comedy. Second one was more of horror/sci-fi. This one's theme is more of a melo-drama...Done in Photoshop... about an hour sketch work...

i like this, you've sort've gievn the character alot more Depth and well Character, i mean i know the original show was prely intended for kids who would never question "Whats it really like for the Inspector?"
but this kind've answers that question, but at the same one bring another to like,
how does he shower with all that machinery exposed like that?

I love it when people show new concepts and a more serious side to all those old shows, and when you think about it, Cpt. Gadget is one of the shows that definitely deserves the attention.

Looks great, looks like it would make a great movie. A tragic hero, who goesn't love that? He's bashed around in the shows and movies but you never really stop to think about what the human side of him is going through...

That's so wicked it hurts, I used to love inspector gadget until they made that awful awful, then that awful sequel, and then an awful tv movie. But the old show was great, and this just bring to mind all those questions about what the operation really did to him.

I was calling it an abomination though, sorry sorry. Still a great piece of art, and the old show was great, I reccomend watching Get Smart if you've never seen that show, it's got the guy who did inspector gadgets voice.

wow! that looks so amazing! i get to see him without his coat! sexy... lol. well, this pic brings back memeries when i was a kid watching IG. its always was my fav show ^^ and out of all the sillyness with the cartoon, i thought that there was a dark side of Gadget... even if he is the funny one...

It wouldn't be right to show "the other side" of Gadget in the original show... considering the nature of style and what the OG show was like...
I was just thinking that if there is a remake, I would like to see much more realistic approach to it... and try to appeal to the original fans of the show who are all grown up now...

You could really play with how it effected his social life, having to be a parent to Penny or the reason he got the gadget implants was Mad's interfering so the idiot would get them instead of the raising star cop. I'm sure he'd be a hit at Sci-fi conventions though.

it show's the emotion what is really going on in Gadget's life.
it remind's me of that episode called "Sweet Dreams are made of these when he was dreaming about the doctors that are trying to give him more gadgets on his body.

Really awesome sketch, makes it seem like something's really troubling him. A far cry from the dim-witted carefree gadget of my younger days.
And in all honesty, its a direction I'd really enjoy seeing fleshed out further (no pun intended).

...this is beautiful. Gadget has been one of my heroes ever since I was a toddler, and this shows a side of him that I've always imagined. I know I'm just repeating everyone else, but it's the truth. Well done on portraying this part of Gadget.

I always wanted to see the whole Gadget story remade into something a little more serious and hit it right on the spot. I love all your Gadget pics. If only you would do a pilot comic of it all, it would be glorious.

Well... I originally started this because I wanted to do a fancomic of Azumanga Daioh... So, it was going to be in similar fashion as AD... with Gadget as a side character...

YES dude seriously, the idea would be awesome and beautiful! Last night that was all I could draw, quick sketches of certain scenes that played out in my mind like the rebirth of the inspector, how it was that he is still alive?, and like who was the one who had signed the consent forms to allow the procedures to be done to Gadget all that cooky drama stuff you know. I just couldn't see the Claw redraw him . Possibly he's as other abomination of science? I don't know, I'm still trying to figure that one out. . .
